Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)
- Analyze R&E HQ processes and procedures to design and recommend actionable process improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and integration between related processes
- In coordination with business function leads, assist in process improvement analysis ensuring that activities are consistent with R&E senior leadership's guidance and preferences
- Provide strategic communications support by drafting directorate-wide messages, preparing briefs, writing reports, and other communication deliverables on behalf of R&E senior leaders
- Manage high-priority or sensitive tasks disseminated exclusively amongst senior leaders
- Assist in communicating standards and expectations for the R&E Deputy Assistant Director's internal and external engagements
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement management tools that increase R&E senior leaders' awareness of key data and support decision making
- Support the execution on R&E's strategic goals and priorities, managing projects through the initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control, and closure phases, providing frequent and appropriate communication with key stakeholders throughout
- Manage various synchronization activities between R&E HQ and its divisions, such a weekly reports and staff meeting action items
- Organize and lead project team meetings to ensure deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet or exceed the client's expectations
- Provide administrative support to the R&E Chief of Staff
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):
- Bachelor's with 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- DoD experience or civilian support to senior military officials
- Ability to identify pre-decisional/sensitive material and control it appropriately
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritizations skills to manage multiple timelines and competing tasks
- Experience writing administrative instructions, standard operating procedures, or similar internal management documents
Desired Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):
- Working knowledge of MS Project and Visio
- Knowledge of the Military Health System
- Experience flowcharting complex processes
