Geotechnical Project Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Geotechnical Project Manager, where you will lead diverse projects ranging from highways and bridges to renewable energy facilities. With opportunities to grow internally, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing projects across both public and private sectors.

• Lead and manage geotechnical projects, including highways, bridges, and renewable energy facilities.
• Conduct soil testing and inspections, providing technical guidance and solutions.
• Collaborate with various technical disciplines to ensure project success.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through excellent oral and written skills.
• Build and lead a team of engineers and technicians to support project backlogs.
• Manage projects from proposal through to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.

• 8 to 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months.
• MSCE in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis.
• Experience with infrastructure engineering and civil projects.

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
• Experience in both public and private sector work.
• Department of Transportation experience is a plus.
• Motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Enjoy a balanced work environment with 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Benefit from hybrid flexibility, working 2-3 days in the office and the rest remotely, depending on project workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
