Job Title: Water/Wastewater Engineer

Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer in their Virginia Beach, Virginia office. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of programs and projects, including municipal, state, and federal/DOD projects. They currently have a need for project experience within their Infrastructure Market Sector, providing expertise on water distribution system modeling and design, sanitary sewer system and pump station study and design, pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, and water storage and pumping system design. This motivated individual will provide technical analysis and design services on a multitude of projects as a part of our client's dynamic Infrastructure Market Sector.

Hard Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant post education experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering
• Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
• Proven track record of delivering quality projects for a range of clients
• Experience with the design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and sewage pump stations
• Experience in design software such as WaterGEMS & Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Proficient in communicating and enjoys and thrives working in a cohesive team environment
• Ability to communicate with a wide-ranging audience, with differing technical and non-technical backgrounds

Work Environment

Current team: Team Lead, one engineer, and one CAD tech (looking for this mid level engineer to bridge the gap between CAD tech and experienced engineers). Hybrid schedule: 3 days in, 2 days remote.
