Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee construction projects located between Joint Base Little Creek and Oceana Naval Base. The scope of work includes excavation and site work, various interior renovations, and a SCIFF build-out. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring adherence to quality standards and effectively communicating progress in meetings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects at Joint Base Little Creek and Oceana Naval Base.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
- Review and uphold quality standards of the project.
- Evaluate scope of work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Communicate progress and updates in meetings.
- QCM Certification
- OSHA 30 Certification
- 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience
- Experience with government contracts
- Knowledge in quality control and site safety
- EM385-1-1 Certification is an added bonus
- Any other federal construction certification is a plus
All projects will be performed on-site at either Joint Base Little Creek or Oceana Naval Base. This position offers the opportunity to join one of the newest small business general contractors in the federal government space, providing longevity and potential for multiple MATOC awards over the next five years.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.88 - $62.50/hr.
