Basic Purpose
To provide operational support for Management, Supervisory staff, Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs), Processors and Closers in order to execute essential mortgage production tasks, minimizing the inherent risk the company and its members assume during the origination process.
Responsibilities
· Assist with new loan setup including indexing, member follow up, ordering and/or validating documents; updating mortgage lending systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Index loan documents received electronically via fax and e-mail from members, Processors, Closers and/or third parties.
· Complete initial contact with the member appropriate information such as contact name, hours, contact numbers, etc. to ensure member education and enhanced member service.
· Maintain systematic, consistent, and reliable notes and contact history information on each member interaction and actions taken on accounts.
· Track and update action items in database(s)
· Serve as mentor/trainer and provide guidance and assistance to team members.
· Continually evaluate the effectiveness of current processes, make recommendations for efficiency improvement
· Review, prepare and submit production reports for tracking purposes.
· Interact with mortgage staff, government agencies, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
· Assist in member follow up, documenting mortgage status, and compiling outstanding documentation.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
· Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Basic word processing and spreadsheet software skills
· Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflow
· Ability to work effectively and efficiently with automated systems
· Experience in performing clerical or administrative duties/responsibilities
· Exposure to working in a high volume, fast paced environment
· Effective skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
Time off Policy: NO Time off within the first 6 months!!!
Training Schedule: GPO - 8:00AM to 4:30PM CST and WCC
9:00AM to 5:30PM EST
Shift Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM CST/EST for Respective Time Zone
**Ability to work 9am-530pm CST/EST
Training Onsite Requirements:
o Hybrid onsite 2 days per week
- **Candidates need to be able to work any days onsite since specific days are undetermined**
Be prepared to be onsite for the duration of training if equipment is delayed or if there are any issues getting set up. In a perfect world, everything goes well during their first onsite onboarding day and they are released to the Hybrid Teleworking schedule
