Description:

This will work in their Contact Center, which is taking all incoming calls to schedule patients for their appointments. They will be assigned to a certain specialty/department, pending their skills and background.

While on the phone, they will be required to and evaluated off of:

- Patient registration- collecting demographics and patient information

- Insurance verification- Getting their insurance info and then processing it

- Scheduling appointment- according to master schedule template for specialty

- Referrals- Verifying doctor information for referrals

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years experience in either a healthcare or call center environment

HS Diploma required

Typing and Microsoft Experience- she talked about 50 WPM

Experience Level:

Entry Level
