DESCRIPTION:

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree.
  • Prior Service Desk Support Experience.
  • Good Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite would be a plus.
  • To Record, maintains and updates records in our ticketing system. Perform quick analysis of the issue, document and assist with corrective action to restore functionality, if possible.
  • Flexible and available- The Service Desk provides 7x24x365 support including weekends and holidays.
  • 100% remote for Local and Non-Local; If local, it is expected to come onsite on Day 1 for a meet and greet and to pick up equipment.
  • 3 openings.
  • 12+ month contract.
  • 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
  • Once fully trained, will work one weekend a month, or bi-monthly.

  • Great Communication and Typing skills.
  • Great customer service skills including soft skills they are essential (ability to adjust and/or calm difficult customers).
  • Some Technical Skills(basic knowledge of windows and MS Office).
