Insurance Verification Specialist

The bulk of their day will be spent on the phones calling different insurance companies to verify insurance (they handle all insurances - commercial, medicaid, medicare, tricare, etc.) They will also research on the insurance websites to verify and obtain authorizations. They also reach out to all of the practices and other practices that schedule surgeries or procedures with the hospital because they will need to obtain patient information to verify insurance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of insurance verification experience
Ability to work in multiple systems
Ability to work independently
Understanding of commercial insurance, medicaid, medicare, tricare
