Description:

AAP Store Systems development is looking for a QA candidate with 5+ years experience to work with their team of 8 others to support ecommerce, point of sale, and other web applications. This is full manual SDLC testing including integration, functional, regression and UAT. The person should have some lead experience because they will be working on projects independently and will be expected to partner with the programmers, PM's and BA's to understand various business demands and formulate solutions. This is important because AAP is not a heavily documented environment and being able to build and manage relationships in collaboration with others is a key to success. Loadrunner experience is helpful and good communication is critical as they interface with all departments at AAP. This is a highly visable team. Candidates from retail giants best buy, target, circuit city, lowes or similar clients tend to do well in this environment.

They are looking at starting to use Test Mgr. or Test Professional a microsoft product so that is helpful experience but the majority of all test cases and scripts are created in excel.

They have releases every 6 weeks so the candidate must be comfortable working with tight deadlines.

***This is not your average tester in the fact they have to have the ability to work through test cases and scripts manually while also being analytical enough to work through requirements, almost BA like but very technical.

Dan is available to interview anytime the week of 2/15 after 4PM and is open Thursday afternoon except from 2-3pm.

This person will really need to be onsite in Roanoke because starting immediately they will need to go onsite for testing in their QA labs.
