Summary/Objective The Field Engineer is responsible for onsite service and support needs for our customers. This relates to all technology including: workstations servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. Goal Foster client relationships through the delivery of services that exceed client expectations and result in sustained growth of day-to-day technical services.

• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships – improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction. • Maintain positive client relationships through timely response, service that meets their needs, and candid feedback on issues and recommendations. • Install, configure, update, and maintain network and server systems for client environments. • Monitor system performance, capacity, and fault issues (CPU, memory, ports, disk space, etc.) and take appropriate action to report and resolve - Recommend resolution options in accordance with fault, performance, or capacity-related items. • Perform, refine, and document preventative maintenance activities on client systems. • Maintain user and system account accuracy via MS Active Directory. • Provide 24 x 7 support for client emergency issues resolution as required. • Contribute to the development of sales quotes for hardware and software that meet client requirements and needs. • Contribute to the presentation of proposed solutions to clients that result in an agreement to proceed. • Assist Account Executives on pre-sales client visits and activities, and support the development of solution configuration and scope of work.
