This position is for a Central Fill pharmacy located in Everett WA supplying patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain.
**There is no patient interaction answering of phones or dealing with insurance companies**

DESCRIPTION:
- This role works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center.
- Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions receiving and shipping.
- Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
- Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Demonstrate problem resolution skills: ability to recognize address and escalate issues to management.
Day to Day:
- Review reports for errors
- Packing patient paperwork and prescriptions
- Sorting patient orders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Processes orders for shipping
- Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
- Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
- Loads product into truck
- Complies with policies procedures and SOPs
- Adheres to and promotes the Company's Shared ICARE principles
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Assistant license (WA state requirement)
- Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds
- Will be standing/walking for the majority of the shift (8+hours per day, requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping)
- Must be available for mandatory overtime which is regular and often up to 1 hour. Occasionally 2 hours the following a major US Holiday.
