Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a Class A Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team at the Hauling location in Fife, WA. Previous waste experience is highly desirable!

PAY AND SCHEDULE:
- Competitive wages starting between $35.00 and $35.50 per hour
- Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed, for a 45-hour workweek
- Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Previous waste experience is preferred but not required.
- Read route sheets and service each customer as identified or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Handle physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading, occasionally without assistance.
- Transport various containers to designated dump or swap locations.
- Provide courteous and professional service at each facility.
- Be willing to learn and operate different types of Class A equipment (e.g., Flatbed, Side-dump, Lowboy, Dump & Pup, etc.).
- Extensive physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds, is required.
- The work environment may involve exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring adherence to basic safety precautions.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet and humid conditions, fumes, and vibration. Noise levels are usually moderate.
- Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Basic knowledge of truck components to perform pre-and post-trip inspections.
