Job Description
We are seeking skilled machine operators to join our team in producing high-quality wire products. Successful candidates will undergo training on the first shift and transition to the second shift upon completion of a 90-day probationary period. These positions require individuals who prioritize safety and are comfortable working in high-heat environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to draw, coil, and produce various types of wire and wire products.
- Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot machine or material issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Read, understand, and follow the production schedule.
- General labor and production experience.
- Proficiency in machine operation.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Consistent attendance and reliability.
- Comfortable with heights and heat exposure.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Manager reference from previous employment, specifically regarding attendance.
- Tenure of 2-3 years in previous job.
- Ability to work in a high-heat environment near molten zinc kettles.
- Comfortable with exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and heavy materials.

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to high heat and chemicals due to galvanized wire processes. Operators must be comfortable working near large machinery and at heights. The schedule includes 12 days on followed by 2 days off, with shifts as follows: 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Safety is paramount due to the nature of the work, which involves hot and cold conditions depending on the season.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.
