Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented security professional to join our team in a dynamic and impactful role focused on safeguarding products and services through rigorous security consultation and analysis. In this position, you will serve as a trusted advisor on security standards, providing expert guidance aligned with documented SFI and Liquid requirements while actively engaging with cross-functional teams to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and drive secure development practices. You will play a central role in organizing and facilitating security review processes, ensuring that threat models are thoroughly evaluated, attack surfaces are carefully examined, and all findings are clearly communicated and documented. This role demands a proactive communicator and analytical thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building and maintaining a strong security posture across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation on security standards for products and services in alignment with SFI and Liquid requirements
- Review threat models and security scenarios, and respond to questions regarding safe security practices
- Conduct thorough threat model reviews, identify attack surfaces, and enumerate vulnerabilities
- Create follow-up tasks and work items based on review findings and communicate constraints and requirements to relevant stakeholders
- Review incoming security meeting requests and manage scheduling accordingly
- Organize and facilitate review meetings and specialized security topic sessions with key speakers
- Synthesize, document, and distribute notes and summaries from security reviews
- Assist in scheduling and providing content for monthly security meetings
- Update security reporting, dashboards, and newsletters to reflect current findings and activities
- 4 or more years of experience conducting threat model reviews
- 4 or more years of experience in security analysis
- 2 or more years of experience with KQL or a similar query language
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred
- Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Proficiency in threat modeling methodologies and attack surface analysis
- Ability to identify, assess, and communicate security vulnerabilities and risks
- Experience with KQL or a similar query language for security analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting findings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules, meetings, and work items simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 14 months
- Pay Range*: $54 - $61.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
