Job Description

As a Journeyman Maintenance Electrician, you will ensure the seamless operation of all electrical systems and equipment within our facility, working closely with the production team to minimize downtime and uphold safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Install and upgrade electrical components and systems, including wiring, conduits, lighting, and control systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to address electrical concerns.
- Clean and lubricate pumps, compressors, and other equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration activities.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
- Install, disassemble, and move industrial machinery and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements.
- Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
- Comply with dress code and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Report safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Provide training and guidance to other maintenance staff.
- Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, and Operational procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations involving electrical systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Valid Washington State Journeyman Electrician (EL01) license.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a licensed electrician.
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary permits or certifications.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for working with electrical systems.
- Safety oriented with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Troubleshooting, electrical wiring, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, conduit installation, repair, conduit bending, wire pulling, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical systems.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and willing to learn.

Work Environment
Must be available to work day and afternoon shifts, including weekends and overtime. Work conditions include varying temperatures, such as warehouse coolers and freezers. Work in tight spaces, on ladders and scaffolding, and lift 50+ lbs. Allergens may be present, requiring PPE such as safety boots and hair nets. Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor.

This is a Permanent position based out of Stanwood, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
