Job Description:

The organization is seeking a talented customer support team member to answer customers inquiries and assist with reporting on different events within the Global Events Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in event marketing. The role will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries within service level agreements, as well as weekly customer support related audits and sending reports to stakeholders. In this role, you will partner with members of the team to ensure effective collaboration and event success. Successful candidates excel at customer service, building working relationships and have a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. Meticulous attention to detail, willingness to solve hard problems, and operating independently are all highly valued skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to event attendees inquires through event email aliases

• Works with event stakeholders to be able to answer questions from and support their event attendees

• Maintain a positive, customer focused attitude at all times

• Support other events during peak times by staffing a Help Desk at in person events and/or answering email or chat inquiries

• Conduct weekly audits and cross checks of registration and housing data

• Create and send out weekly reports to stakeholders

Required Skills

• 1+ years of relevant experience in a customer service role

• 1+ years of relevant experience in events

• Ability to work independently and autonomously

• Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail

• Ability to manage your time, and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. Confident at quickly adapting to changing priorities.

• Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to quickly learn and understand new platforms and tools

• Ability to travel and work across time zones

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a large corporate setting

• Degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study

• Proven knowledge of industry tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and event registration technologies
