Patient Care Coordinator

Our client are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience while providing exceptional customer service. Your main responsibility will be to assist patients with the registration process, gather necessary information, and verify insurance coverage.

**Responsibilities:**

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately
• Register patients and schedule appointments using our electronic system
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations when handling patient information
• Explain billing procedures and answer patient inquiries regarding insurance coverage and financial obligations
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and other staff to ensure a smooth patient flow
• Assist patients with completing required forms and obtaining necessary signatures
• Resolve patient concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate department

**Qualifications:**

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is beneficial

**Work Environment**

• Onsite in Seattle, Washington
• Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 pm
