Job Description:

Developer Relations is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help create and coordinate content across a large tech company's Twitter accounts.

Top must-have hard skills:

1. Project management and organization skills – 3-5+ years

2. Some experience or a demonstrated interest in technology or a technical field – 3-5+ years

3. Strong social media skills (including video) – 3-5+ years

This person would oversee messaging, scheduling, and amplification across our channels and ideally also through relevant channels in Learn and Cloud Marketing. They would own and manage a group content calendar, prioritize social submissions through an intake form, provide light graphic design when needed, and report out at a high level on what’s working and key insights. There is a real ability to own and create a new process, there’s a lot of visibility in the org and flexibility in the approach as this person will be working with developers. This person will need to be familiar with developer social media. There’s a high amount of creativity, they are doing a ton of new content in many areas so there’s a little bit of everything in this role and a lot of autonomy. You will get to own this process and work with lots of different people within this org which is a huge plus. 

Ideally looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience for a 6-month trial to end of June 2022, with potential to extend.

• Owning, managing, prioritizing, and scheduling an org-wide editorial calendar, managing and prioritizing submissions from across DevRel

Writing and editing social content/tweet editing and overseeing and implementing correct link tracking codes, QA’ing @ tags, CTA links

• Comfortable with Photoshop; light graphic design experience including modifying existing assets and creating made-for social images/GIFs

• Familiarity with content marketing (especially on Twitter), interacting with followers, cross-promotion and amplification within our DevRel org

• Maintain accessibility in our content – Alt Text, captions, High Contrast, etc.

• Promoting among other accounts: expanding our social footprint across the broader product and marketing ecosystem

Skills:

• Project management and collaboration

• Robust organizational skills – Experience with M365 tools like OneNote and SharePoint a bonus

• Experienced social media skills – Knowledgeable in latest engagement best practices

• Strong writer – Background in technical and/or creative writing. With exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Sprinklr for scheduling and analytics

• Light Adobe Photoshop/video editing work

• Familiarity with developer audience, technology, technical culture and humor a plus

Candidate Requirements:

• Years of Experience - 3-5 years of experience

• Degrees or certifications required? – N/A

Experience with M365 tools like OneNote and SharePoint a bonus.

Azure Dev Ops (ADO) experience or similar.

• Familiarity with developer social media.

• Performance indicators – Stakeholder satisfaction. Collaboration abilities, ability to prioritize and work with a ton of different people.
