Licensed Practical Nurse

Description:

- Full-time position in clinic from 8am-4:30pm but seeing participants from 9am-3/3:30pm

- Manages patient care in the clinic - especially for wound care and foot care

- There will be some phlebotomy when the certified nursing assistant is not working

- Providing vaccinations

- Supports participants with downloading diabetic readings from their continuous glucose monitors

- Supporting with clinic management and patient flow

- There are a total of 150 participants at this clinic which amounts to 5-8 patients seen daily

- There might be the occasional request to see participants in the community, but not frequently

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Licensed through the WA DOH (LPN/LVP/RN)

- National provider BLS - American Heart Association

- Education sufficient for license

- Driving may be necessary - proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request

- 1 year of experience with the geriatric is a NICE TO HAVE

- Experience working with the frail and elderly
