Job Title: Safety Specialist
Job Description
The Safety Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's safety program and manuals. This role involves conducting jobsite visits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. The Safety Specialist will lead employee safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and coordinate with healthcare providers and Worker’s Compensation as needed. Additionally, the role includes purchasing, tracking, and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment, maintaining OSHA logs and safety documentation, and collaborating with Project Managers to align safety practices with project schedules and field operations. The Safety Specialist is also expected to stay current on regulations and recommend safety policy improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's safety program and manuals.

Essential Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Experience in safety and construction safety
- Expertise in fall protection
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates degree in Safety, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
