Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that all materials are procured to meet customer requirements while maintaining balanced stock levels. This role involves close coordination with sales, manufacturing, and logistics to achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials are procured to meet customer requirements while balancing stock levels.
• Act as a contact with sales, manufacturing, and logistics to meet customer needs.
• Plan and enter purchase orders based on customer delivery dates, availability of raw materials, and resources.
• Adjust for changes in customer requirements and advise appropriate parties of schedule changes.
• Analyze material and component needs and place purchase orders with appropriate suppliers.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Expedite and de-expedite purchased components to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Analyze finished goods inventory to identify slow-moving products that can be modified to fill existing orders.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Purchasing/Inventory, Production, ERP, Inventory, Schedule planning, Production scheduling, MRP, Negotiation, and Buying experience.
• Willingness to learn, take on new tasks, grow, and be reliable.
