Job Title: Quality Specialist


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing various laboratory analyses, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining rigorous documentation practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control and assurance, along with excellent analytical skills.


Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis in the laboratory with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to established standards, mobile phases, and reagents.
  • Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, ICP, etc.
  • Analyze raw materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products using various analytical and instrumental methods.
  • Perform calculations, collect, and prepare data for evaluation.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of work status.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results under the guidance of staff.
  • Maintain good documentation practices.
  • Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment and appropriate safety tools to ensure oneself and others' safety.
  • Ensure the area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels.
  • Please make sure all personnel in the area follow with safety directives and maintain a neat and clean workspace.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a relevant scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, science, etc.); Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Broad general knowledge of quality control techniques and methods.
  • Broad understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene, and GMP rules.
  • 0-3 years of lab experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Work Environment

The Quality Specialist will work in a laboratory setting, utilizing various analytical and instrumental methods. The role requires adherence to rigorous safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment. The work environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety directives to ensure a safe and efficient workplace for all employees.
