Job Description
Join our dynamic team in manufacturing custom pressure vessels for various industries and applications. Each project is unique in size, material, and complexity, allowing you to hone your skills in custom fabrication. Spend approximately 60% of your day welding and 40% grinding welds or preparing for welding. Utilize blueprints to fit and weld tanks using various materials and processes, including MIG, TIG, and Flux.
Responsibilities
- Perform custom fabrication of pressure vessels using different welding materials and processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fittings and welding.
- Conduct welding for 60% of the workday and engage in grinding or preparation for 40% of the workday.
- Work with MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding processes.
- Handle large tanks and be comfortable working at heights.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- 2+ years of welding experience or a two-year degree in welding or fabrication.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience with ASME or pressure vessel fabrication.
- Familiarity with welding on high alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel, AL6XN, and Titanium.

Work Environment
Work in a specialized environment focusing on stainless and high alloy fabrications since 1974. The shop is well-ventilated but can be loud due to grinding activities. Hearing protection is required. The team currently comprises 12 skilled workers, with optimal operations at 25 on the first shift. Experience working with 300 series stainless steels and high alloys for corrosion control. Our facility operates on a first shift with the flexibility of either a 4x10 schedule or a Monday-Friday workweek.

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
