Utility Drafter/Designer

Description:

Immediately hiring for drafters/designers to work on electrical distribution projects for We Energies. They will be designing the electrical utility routes primarily in MicroStation and also a little bit in AutoCAD. Since they will be contracted by We Energies, all drafters will be part of the union and will earn union wages. For the first three months of this role, designers will earn a training rate combined with the union fringe rate. After completing training, a utility designer will get a raise in both their union wage and fringe rate.

Qualifications:

Applicants must posses a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or industrial engineering. They must also have expierence using AutoCAD and MicroStation. Those who have used it previously in an office setting and those who have expierence in the electrical field are preferred.
