Material Handler

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with various aspects of logistics, including receiving, shipping, data entry, inventory control, labeling, and maintaining all associated GMP documentation as needed. Additional duties involve creating and updating log sheets and inventory cards, managing shipping activities, and handling all inventory movement functions while ensuring documentation is meticulously maintained.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload material between dock and truck using a hand truck where applicable.
• Move materials between statuses and locations within the plants.
• Process delivered materials promptly, with special attention to temperature-sensitive receipts.
• Deliver received shipments accordingly.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing components and report on inventory.
• Perform cycle counts, manage expiration date maintenance, and maintain all material storage locations.

Essential Skills

• Packaging and labeling expertise.
• Proficiency in material handling and loading.
• Warehouse/material handling experience.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Packing and shipping knowledge.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• cGMP or GMP experience is a plus.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with some overtime when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
