Process Operator

Description:

The Process Operator will be working under GMP (good manufacturing practices) standards to produce an API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) called Pancreatin (an enzyme used to treat digestive issues that may be caused when the pancreas is removed or isn’t working well) or Heparin (an enzyme used in open heart surgery). They will be measuring, mixing, and documenting data on production runs. Production runs are controlled by computer panels and systems so they need to be able to maneuver a computer. They are also responsible for sanitation of their area and helping out in various other areas of production.

There is one opening in the Specialty Products division. This division acts as a small CRO (contract research organization) for specific clients. The basic functions of the job are the same as listed as above, but this position requires a bit more research and trial runs of certain batches to figure out the best possible outcome.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related OR 2+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
