A spray foam insulation installer, you will be responsible for spraying the exterior wall and attics before drywall, paneling or plaster are put in place. The majority of the installations would be within light commercial job sites, multi-family apartment complexes, and condos. They also do some industrial work in warehouse, pole barns, and retail stores. The spray technicians use Graco Equipment

Requirements: Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials Erect ladders and scaffolds Check netting for areas that may need blocking and prepares spray foam machine by checking oil, belts and obstructions Operate equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighing up to 56 lbs. Check density in wall areas 2-5 years’ experience in construction industry, experience installing insulation a plus Experience with exterior/interior spray foam Proficient in using hand tools and power tools, including tape measure, laser level, and drill Responsibilities: Load and log materials onto truck and note returned materials for each job order Erect scaffolding or ladders to height needed Cut the insulation materials to the size required and places with in frame, ceiling, attic or crawlspace Attach insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring or nailing Operate equipment that injects loose fill or foamed insulation Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle Maintain tools and truck housekeeping, and maintenance Complete daily paperwork and returning to production coordinator Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Use common hand tools; including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and stapling hammer Work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces Lift a minimum of 50lbs. Climb ladders and scaffolding Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees Stand for extended periods of time
