Description:

General Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering and manufacturing drawings in 2D AutoCAD and also Inventor 3D.

• Candidate will prepare manufacturing BOMs.

• Candidate will maintain project drawing files, associated records, and other documentation per policy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must:

2 year degree in mechanical design or structural design

1+ year of Inventor highly preferred, but would look at someone with any 3D software. Getting this experience from schooling works.

6+ months of clean sheet design. This can be from schooling as well.

Plus:

-Understanding of Steel Manufacturing i.e. welding, fabrication, forming, drilling

-PM Oriented-can handle own project, hit deadlines, communicate changes, take ownership, and have sense of urgency

-Mechanical Aptitude to know if I change this design I need to have drawing checked again by a superior
