Data Center Technician

Responsibilities: • Will be handling about 35-45 inbound calls per day, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on how long each call lasts, average is about 11-14 minutes per call. • This person will be responsible for handling inbound calls pertaining to insurance servicing questions. • Will receive questions from borrowers, insurance agents and financial institutions. • The insurance questions will pertain to home owners insurance and will be from borrowers, insurance agents and financial institutions. • Majority of calls will be in regards to payment and/or coverage questions. • The CSR must be able to multi-task between various systems to research and document the phone calls. • The CSR has to respond quickly and accurately ensuring that both our internal and external standards are being met on a consistent basis. • Problem solving and problem resolutions skills are required as well as the ability to handle all calls in a professional manner. This is a full-time, hourly, non-commission position.What you'll do:<ul><li>Utilizes a consultative approach to determine customer needs, build rapport, and provide solutions (composed of a la cart combinations of various products and services) based on current products and service offerings.</li><li>Builds and maintains relationships between members and nonmembers and insurance carriers, exercising technical knowledge effectively and communicating solutions.</li><li>Utilizes understanding of compliance and insurance standards and Agency Management Systems to limit agency Errors & Omissions (E&O) exposure through proper documentation.</li><li>Classifies member’s and/or non-members business and provide accurate risk management and risk mitigation solutions.</li><li>Facilitates account reviews, by leveraging the carrier renewal cycle, and understanding the members’ and nonmembers’ risk profile to provide consultative advice and appropriately address and mitigate the risk.</li><li>Researches industry trends and evolving regulatory environment (state and national), improving understanding of important technical/financial issues.</li><li>Utilizes Intermediate knowledge of Agency Management Systems/Customer Relations Management (CRM) & multiple carrier Platforms to operate comfortably at an advanced level to appropriately select product and carrier offerings.</li><li>Leverages intermediate knowledge of Carrier guidelines and processes to partner and negotiate with underwriters on endorsements, renewal questions, and remarkets for underwriting determination (approval or declination).</li><li>Leverages intermediate understanding of calculating Insurance to Value (ITV) on a wide range of property types and structures including geographic differences and capture custom or unique features within the properties and provide appropriate details to determine accurate replacement values.</li><li>Provides select account service for member’s and nonmember’s including policy changes, certificates, endorsements, renewals, non-renewals and remarkets, cancellations, reinstatements, and record updates within agency systems.</li><li>Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.</li></ul>What you have: <ul><li>High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.</li><li>1 year of insurance sales and service experience and/or experience working in a high value, commercial insurance agency or broker setting.</li><li>Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state and/or ability to obtain home state and multistate license within 90 days.</li></ul>What sets you apart:<ul><li>2 or more years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience writing new business. (Not including renewals and/or servicing)</li><li>2 or more years working experience quoting and binding directly with the insured.</li><li>Experience with Agency Management Systems and/or Salesforce.</li><li>Experience working in a Commercial Lines multiple carrier environment.</li><li>Experience writing Commercial lines in multiple states.</li><li>Experience working in a call center environment.</li><li>Active P&C General Lines License for home state.</li></ul>Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $43,680.00 - $76,610.00.USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
