Sr. Business Systems Analyst

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Supports the Organization's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the Organization's Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and policy requirements. Assists physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures. Responsible for the operation and quality control of the radiological equipment in accordance with the Organization's policies, procedures, and training. Assists with the inventory and supply management. Interventional Radiology Technologist - Azura

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Corporate Agreement Specialist supports Fresenius Medical Care's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the Fresenius Medical Care Compliance Program, including following regulatory and FME policy requirements. The specialist secures revenue to overall business through negotiation, execution and administration of Single Patient Letter of Agreements (non-insurance) with referral sources and when applicable to new admissions and existing patients across assigned regions and/or business units. In addition, the specialist secures out of network revenue by negotiating settlement agreements with health plans and third-party payors for prior services rendered. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :<ul><li>Developing professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.</li><li>Normally receives general work instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness.</li><li>Manage all activities required to secure revenue through the process of negotiating individual Letter of Agreements and settlement agreements ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines and requirements.</li><li>Initiate and complete Letters of Agreements for AKI or ESRD patients from a hospital (uninsured or has insurance with no dialysis benefits) as well as religious entities, permanent or seasonal self-pay patients or patients under the care of a hospice, rehab or psychiatric facility.</li><li>Responsible for activities related to the negotiation and execution of Single Patient Letter of Agreements such as conducting market assessment and history prior to initiating the negotiation process, obtains necessary approvals if required for rates and terms, and notifies the Revenue Centers and CVO offices of completion.</li><li>Review and resolve settlement proposals for past services rendered where Letters of Agreement from health plans were not obtained prior to patient admission. Lead negotiation efforts among commercial payors, self-funded employers, third party administrators, and repricing agencies. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Manages a field team of regulatory compliance employees and provides regulatory expertise through leadership, collaboration, development, management, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the impact of existing trends and new initiatives related to state and federal regulatory activities. Clarifies and communicates regulatory developments, new regulations, and changing requirements and their implications to the company's corporate and field stakeholders as necessary. Assists in the development and delivery of company responses to regulatory developments. </li><li> Supports, as necessary, Leadership's collaboration with Corporate Compliance, Clinical Services, Operations, Quality, Education, and Corporate Law departments relative to the development and implementation of programs, polices, and initiatives which are consistent with regulatory requirements. </li><li> Assesses facilities that are likely to be surveyed and which of those facilities require mock surveys using data-based models. </li><li> Manages, trains and supervises the responsibilities and day-to-day activities of Regulatory staff in the execution of their duties which include, but are not limited to: scheduling and completing mock surveys, assisting facility management in the correction of deficient practices and/or following up with facility compliance of plans and corrections. </li><li> Supports facilities by assuming a lead role in the development of detailed and timely plans of corrections in response to state and federal regulatory surveys in the event of Immediate Jeopardy and Condition level findings. </li><li> Collaborates in the development of processes and systems to better track and analyze survey outcomes and assists in designing related reports for routine distribution to appropriate corporate and field personnel. </li><li> Collaborates to support Leadership in the development, implementation and management of the department's long-range goals, outstanding and new initiatives and budgets; the development of financial implications related to ongoing responsibilities, activities and the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance regulatory compliance and to correct serious incidents of noncompliance. </li><li> Supports the implementation of corporate quality goals and action plans. </li><li> Maintains and disseminates information and guidance to the field and contributes to, as necessary, keeping current the Regulatory Compliance site on the company intranet. </li><li> Maintains liaison and collaborates, whenever possible, with state regulatory agencies; supports Leadership's similar relationships with federal regulatory agencies. </li><li> Develops and manages the implementation of and reports on the progress of special projects as assigned. </li><li> Performs other related duties as assigned </li></ul> PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS : <ul><li> The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The registered professional nurse Home Therapies RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. Assesses and manages patients' response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy by following prescribed predetermined protocols and communicates patient related issues to the physician as needed. As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, this position participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
