Data Center Technician

Responsibilities: • Will be handling about 35-45 inbound calls per day, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on how long each call lasts, average is about 11-14 minutes per call. • This person will be responsible for handling inbound calls pertaining to insurance servicing questions. • Will receive questions from borrowers, insurance agents and financial institutions. • The insurance questions will pertain to home owners insurance and will be from borrowers, insurance agents and financial institutions. • Majority of calls will be in regards to payment and/or coverage questions. • The CSR must be able to multi-task between various systems to research and document the phone calls. • The CSR has to respond quickly and accurately ensuring that both our internal and external standards are being met on a consistent basis. • Problem solving and problem resolutions skills are required as well as the ability to handle all calls in a professional manner. Your work will focus on adjusting non-injury auto claims and you'll work under supervision to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low complexity auto insurance claims presented by or against our members. This will include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. In this role, you will make a difference to our members as you deliver best in class customer service through setting appropriate expectations, proactively communicating and providing advice to deliver appropriate solutions to the member.What you'll do:<ul><li>Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages. auto physical damage, and liability, in order to evaluate and settle high volume and low complexity auto claims such as; simple comprehensive and collision (i.e., single vehicle, parked and unoccupied, clear liability), glass, roadside, and rental vehicle coverages for repairable vehicles.</li><li>Resolve claims through proactive problem solving and decision making, within authority guidelines and under direct supervision, while overcoming obstacles, and effectively prioritizing the workload.</li><li>Clearly document thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.</li><li>Collaborate and set expectations with external and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution.</li><li>Support members, business partners, and claimants, through use of varying communication channels to include utilization of digital tools to drive timely and effective resolutions through exceptional service.</li><li>Acquire and apply a foundational knowledge of Property and Claims (P&C) insurance industry products, and services, to include P&C insurance policy contracts, coverages and internal claims handling process and procedures.</li><li>Support workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including potential evening, weekends, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.</li><li>May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.</li><li>Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.</li></ul>What you have: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED</li><li>Ability to provide exceptional customer service for our members by communicating clearly and professionally using multiple communication channels to process information related to auto claims</li><li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task while navigating through multiple business applications</li><li>Successfully acquire an insurance adjuster license and applicable state registrations within 90 days of hire</li><li>Successful completion of job-related assessments is required.</li></ul>What sets you apart:<ul><li>US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner</li><li>Bachelor’s degree</li></ul>Compensation range: The hiring range for this position is: $49,840 to $51,840.Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
