Concrete Laborer

Description
					IAA is a Auto Auction for insurance companies. In the Birmingham area two of their largest insurance partners are Geico and Progressive. IAA responds to car accidents and is responsible for towing the wrecked cars to their facility, where they will clean up the vehicles to be auctioned off. They are looking for individuals to work in the yard. The job will consist of cleaning vehicles out when they enter the facility, which this is called the Check In of the vehicle. Duties include: vacuum cars out, removing any trash in the vehicles, gather personal belongings and bag them up separately, wrap any broken glass in plastic wrapping, etc. From there, a candidate would also have to operate a hand held device to enter in information on the car such as: color, make, model, VIN number, visible damage, and determine the quality of the car. They also may have to take pictures of the vehicle on the handheld device. The program they use is very easy to navigate, but the person needs to have basic tech savy knowledge to be able to do so. Once the vehicle is checked in, cleaned and identified, it then will move to the holding lot.
