Hourly Rate: $28-$30/hr Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM (6 days/week) POSITION SUMMARY: &bull; Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes and demonstrate proficiency in proprietary operational systems &bull; Analyze and resolve customer inquiries for missed pick-ups, misplaced containers, and property damage &bull; Assist drivers when a pickup or delivery is in question before servicing &bull; Schedule and dispatch work to various employees and departments throughout the day &bull; Demonstrate effective use of software applications; MS Word and Excel proficiency required &bull; Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill and professionalism &bull; Work in a high-volume, cooperative environment with frequent customer interaction &bull; Solicit sale of new or additional services JOB REQUIREMENTS: &bull; High school diploma or equivalent required &bull; Minimum 2 years of dispatcher experience in a transportation or logistics environment preferred &bull; Experience in the transportation industry &bull; Experience with live dispatch operations and driver coordination &bull; Experience setting up schedules for drivers &bull; Familiarity with driver coaching tools such as 3rd Eye, Lytx, and DriveCam &bull; Strong typing and data entry skills &bull; Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) &bull; Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written WHAT WE OFFER: &bull; Competitive pay &bull; Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan &bull; Unlimited opportunities to Connect with Your Future" &bull; Year-round stability in a recession-resistant industry Apply today and Connect with Your Future!
