					These openings are for B1-
APR (Automatic Pour Room): This is the petri dish area, they make the media that is dispensed into the petri dishes. **This position may involve seeing sheeps blood in bags and/or cleaning petri dishes off. (Building 1) 
Shifts are as follows:
1st - Shift (Monday- Friday 6:00am-2:30pm) $17/hr
2nd - Shift (Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm) $19.55/hr
3rd - Shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am) $19.55/hr

These roles require lifting/twisting/pushing up to 30 lbs repetitively, filing out paperwork throughout their shift and performing basic math with a calculator, working on their feet the entire shift.

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise and support solid waste collection crews and route drivers</li><li>Assign daily work schedules and adjust routes and staffing as needed</li><li>Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and monthly safety meetings</li><li>Monitor service quality and perform field inspections</li><li>Investigate and resolve customer service issues related to waste collection</li><li>Oversee the Dispatch Department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations</li><li>Maintain up-to-date employee records and performance documentation</li><li>Administer progressive discipline as needed, in line with company policy</li><li>Complete quarterly performance reviews for all drivers</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in waste management, logistics, or transportation</li><li>CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or willingness to obtain</li><li>Experience with route management, dispatch operations, or fleet supervision</li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred but not required</li><li>Willingness to relocate for promotion within the company (a plus)</li></ul>Why Join Groot / Waste Connections?<ul><li>Be part of a stable, recession-resistant industry</li><li>Access to growth and advancement opportunities across the U.S.</li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package</li><li>Safety-first culture backed by a nationally recognized environmental services leader</li></ul>Pay: Salary is 70-75K and a 10% bonus Successful candidates are those who seek to thrive in an environment of operational excellence and accountability.
