Inside Sales Rep - Post Acute Care

A postdoctoral appointee position is immediately available at the Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory. Working with scientists from the APS, the successful candidate will lead efforts to develop experimental techniques using conventional and coherent imaging in the ultrafast time domain, as well as a computational framework for modeling and reconstructing images. The projects will also focus on applications and algorithms employing X-ray scattering models to uncover spatiotemporal correlations in ultrafast phenomena, particularly fluid dynamics, studied at the recently upgraded APS. Postdoctoral Appointee - High-speed X-ray Imaging at the Advanced Photon Source

Argonne National Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Appointee to advance the deployment, commissioning, and scientific use of Transition-Edge Sensor (TES) X-ray microcalorimeter spectrometers at the Advanced Photon Source. The successful candidate will work at the interface of cutting-edge cryogenic detector technology and synchrotron science, helping to integrate TES spectrometers into APS beamlines and enabling transformative experiments in X-ray spectroscopy. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing capability at one of the world's premier synchrotron facilities, collaborate with detector scientists and beamline teams, and lead forefront experiments that leverage the sub-eV to few-eV energy resolution and high quantum efficiency of TES arrays. Postdoctoral Appointee - Transition-Edge Sensor X ray Spectroscopy at the Advanced Photon Source

Under the supervision of a system responsible engineer, the applicant will participate/assist in fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, inventory control and maintenance of instrumentation and programmable electronic equipment particularly PLC based systems. Applicant should be able to read electronic and electromechanical drawings and be familiar with instrumentation, controls and equipment for air, water, vacuum, and cryogenics. Applicant will also participate in wide ranging activities such as: control panel fabrication, cable pulling/terminating, soldering, crimping, and diagnosing problems on complex PLC based interlock systems. The Argonne Tandem Linear Accelerator System (ATLAS)-the world's first heavy-ion superconducting linear accelerator-has operated for more than four decades as a user facility advancing nuclear physics and its applications. ATLAS relies on robust utilities infrastructure, including AC electrical distribution, process water, and HVAC systems. We are seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to lead the design, installation, operation, and reliability of these systems in support of accelerator operations and experiments. This role offers hands-on experience in auditing, data analytics, and compliance with federal requirements while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You will work under close supervision, receive structured training, and contribute to audits that support the laboratory's mission.
