The Tool/Chem Crib / HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) Attendant is responsible for the daily routine of issuing tools/parts and hazardous material: Key Duties: <ul> <li>Inspect tools and equipment for wear or defects, including Calibrated tools and equipment assigned to tool crib.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare written damage reports and disposal/turn-in documentation.</li> <li>Ensure aircraft-related chemicals issued and returned are properly documented in HMMS.</li> <li>Maintain the bench stock, tracking items issued, and determining low stock reorder quantity in accordance with NPR 4100.</li> <li>Stock, inventory, and track deployable HAZMAT kits before and after deployments.</li> <li>Coordinate pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials.</li> <li>Manage HAZMAT chemicals to ensure common chemicals usage, shelf life and on hand stock is maintained to reduce waste and cost.</li> <li>Ensure that all HAZMAT containers are in good condition, kept closed and secured during storage, properly labeled, and segregated from incompatible materials.</li> <li>Inspect monthly and document, with provided checklist, all portable eyewash stations that are assigned to the Chemical/Tool crib.
