Human-AI Collaborative Planning

Intermediate
Intermediate
Duration: 17 Hours
Languages: English

About the course:

Human‑AI Collaborative Planning moves you from simply using AI tools to working with them as effective partners. Through hands‑on practice with prompts, output refinement, and tool evaluation, you’ll learn how to guide AI systems with clarity, improve the quality of their responses, and decide which tools are best suited for specific tasks. This course builds your confidence in shaping AI‑supported work so that the technology enhances, not replaces, your judgment and expertise. In three modules, you’ll learn how to generate clear, task‑aligned prompts, refine AI outputs for accuracy and effectiveness, and compare AI tools based on their strengths, limitations, and suitability for everyday needs. You’ll practice identifying issues in AI responses, adjusting prompts to improve clarity, and selecting the right tool for different scenarios. You’ll bring these skills together in a capstone project where you help a law firm validate the workflows of an AI deployment, applying structured reasoning to ensure the system is accurate, appropriate, and ready for controlled use.

Complete the modules and capstone project to earn an industry-recognized IBM SkillsBuild digital credential called Human-AI Collaborative Planning.
