UI/UX Design Intern - Digital Services Portfolio Innovations Team

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Design Intern to join our Digital Services Portfolio Innovations Team. In this role, you will work closely with the business stakeholders, sponsors, and members of Ricoh's Innovation Team to gather voice of the customer (VOC) solution and services requirements. From there, you will partner with the team to conceptualize and design innovative, user-centric experiences for our solutions and services. Your primary goal will be to create interactive user interfaces for clients and improve quality, usability, and functionality across our existing platforms. The role requires expertise with UI Design Principles, understanding of layout aesthetics, and knowledge of web technologies from research and professional experience.

UI/UX Design Intern Responsibilities:

• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including customers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders) to ensure designs meet user needs.
• Conduct usability testing, gather feedback to iterate on designs.
• Design UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the application functions and looks.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
• Prepare and present drafts to internal teams.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
