Description
Under supervision of a PT, the primary functions are to provide applicable physical therapy care for patients with various diagnoses in the acute care setting. Major duties include: patient treatment, completing all documentation requirements accurately and timely. Must maintain expected productivity levels (including special assignments). The primary function is patient care, unless otherwise specified. May be required to rotate between clinical areas and will be required to participate in holiday and weekend coverage. Salary range: 34.73-52.50 Hourly

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
CA PTA license BLS from AHA or ARC 2 or more years of PTA experience qualifies for PTA 2 title Acute care experience preferred. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ability to work as a member of the team, including sharing knowledge, giving and receiving feedback, taking initiative to assist others, problem solving and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning. Ability to identify the need for and utilize appropriate safety and/or emergency techniques, protection of patient lines and drains and infection control
