Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will contribute to clinical testing and high-volume Testing, specializing in histocompatibility testing. This role involves utilizing serological techniques, including lymphocyte isolation and separation, microcytotoxicity testing, serum processing, cross-matching, and antibody testing using Luminex. Salary Range: $51.76 - $68.97/hour

• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist license • Bachelor's degree • Ability to work outside of normal shift hours, including on-call and rotating weekends • Preferred experience and background in Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) and blood bank • Knowledge of molecular methods, reference ranges, test methodologies, instrument operation/maintenance, as well as CAP and other regulatory requirements • Understanding of relevant disease states to communicate the significance of test results • Ability to perform testing, documentation, interpretation, and report preparation for ongoing R&D and method development projects • Strong team player
