Description
As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will: * • Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders * • Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed * • Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations * • Perform accurate image archival * • Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media * • Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient *This posting is for 2 open positions* Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

* • Licenses * o ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required * * o ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required * • Venipuncture certificate - required * • BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required * • Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required * • AA or BS - preferred * * • Siemens experience - preferred * • Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies * • Ability to identify contraindications for exams * • Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills * • Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes) * • Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology *
