Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will enforce best coding practices, advocate for continuous improvement, and develop tools and templates for process enhancements. Your primary focus will be on scaling our platform to manage a significantly increased load while ensuring 100% uptime.

Responsibilities

• Enforce best coding practices and advocate for continuous improvement.
• Develop tools and templates for process improvements.
• Scale the platform to handle 1,000 times the current load while maintaining 100% uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of microservices and APIs.
• Engage in front-end development using JavaScript or Golang.

Essential Skills

• Over 5 years years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience
• Mastery of SDLC, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, and clean code/architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with modern technologies like GoLang, GraphQL, gRPC, JavaScript, microservices, and NoSQL.
• 5+ years of applying cloud development patterns and best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud-based architecture and automated release pipelines (7+ years).
• 5+ years of API-first approach expertise with loosely coupled systems and domain-driven design.
• Full stack development experience with a stronger focus on the front-end side.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in managing and planning technical debt.
• Commitment to improving code, processes, and people.
• Strong focus on quality code and various testing approaches.
• Nice to have experience with Golang and Java.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Golang for front-end development.

Work Environment

The work environment is highly collaborative and supportive, encouraging teamwork and the sharing of ideas. The position requires being in the office four days a week, with one flexible work-from-home day depending on project load and team presence. Employees can choose their work-from-home day, but there is no flexibility beyond the current arrangement.
