Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacy technician to provide FMLA coverage. The primary role involves filling and preparing prescription orders efficiently while ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare prescription orders in a timely manner.
• Manage and stock the robotic counting machine.
• Ensure fast mover medications are consistently stocked.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy according to a designated cleaning schedule.
• Conduct monthly checks for expired drugs.
• Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
• Follow and support the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management as assigned.
• Perform routine, professional pharmacy functions.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified.
• Experience in pharmacy, specifically retail pharmacy.
• Proficiency in prescription fulfillment.

Work Environment

The position is based in a closed-door pharmacy. The work schedule includes shifts from Monday to Thursday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Other potential shifts include Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
