As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will serve as the lead for the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale engineering initiatives. This role provides strategic leadership and technical direction across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring modernization efforts are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with mission-critical objectives.
Position will be located at Patrick SFB.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Manages all program engineering efforts, staffing, team dynamics.
- Participates in all design reviews, tests, logistics efforts.
- Oversees and supports engineering teams assigned to each phase of DAF BIM from survey to O&M.
- Briefs leadership stakeholders regarding engineering efforts.
- Writes engineering plans, findings, recommendations.
- Supports development and review of preliminary and final SPRIP.
- Enforces engineering standards, policies, and regulations.
- Provides input to Master Scheduler regarding sequencing of tasks, durations, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinates resource assignments with Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers.
- Attends or provides engineering resources to support customer meetings such as the PAC, KOM, IPT, and Program Status.
- Plans transition services with Program Manager, including WITO and O&M.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience working with DoD or USG programs.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Technical BA / BS degree; Or
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- 7 years with BA / BS degree; Or
- Minimum of 10 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs / systems with High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier 3) level clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years managing / leading large, complex network modernizations.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience working with DoD or USG programs.
