Cash Application Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support invoicing and cash application activities for a small division. This contract role focuses on billing, collections, and related financial operations using Epicor ERP. The position may also assist other business units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily invoicing and billing for goods and services.
• Accurately apply customer payments in Epicor and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of invoice distribution and customer communications.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Assist with collections and follow-up activities.
• Support process improvements and cross-functional financial tasks.
• Provide assistance to other divisions as needed.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cash applications.
• Proficiency with Epicor ERP or similar financial systems.
• Strong understanding of the order-to-cash process.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
