Responsibilities
- Complete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client-specific policies and procedures.
- Perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations with guidance.
- Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs, focusing on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.
- Assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with all client site safety requirements.
- Strategically assess client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of calibration experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Calibration experience including loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but provided if needed).
- Experience with process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and some lab instruments.
- High attention to detail with detailed reporting and referencing standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or military experience preferred.
- A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent military training.
- Understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios.
- Basic understanding of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite role in a construction setting at a greenfield site with a heavy construction presence. Steel-toed boots are required, and reimbursement is provided. Safety and awareness are paramount in this environment. The role operates during weekdays, with potential availability adjustments as the project advances.
