Hvac Design Engineer

We’re hiring an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of complex projects across all phases—from concept through construction. This is a hybrid role offering the chance to work closely with architects and engineers in a highly interactive studio environment, with Fridays remote and unlimited PTO.

🔍 About the Role

You’ll work directly under the Engineering Principal and Project Engineer, managing multiple projects and contributing to mechanical system design, documentation, and coordination. This role is ideal for someone with strong Revit skills, HVAC design experience, and a passion for precision and collaboration.

• Perform mechanical load calculations and equipment sizing
• Prepare mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, plans, and schedules
• Conduct detailed site surveys and apply building code knowledge
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout project phases

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME required)
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and expert-level Revit
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and load calculations
• EIT certification preferred (PE not required)
• Willingness to travel occasionally
