This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced job sites, has experience with bulk cabling, and can confidently install and configure wireless access points. If you’re motivated, reliable, and take pride in quality work, this is a great opportunity to join a team that values professionalism and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Pull, terminate, and punch down Cat5/Cat6 cabling in commercial environments
  • Install and mount Wi-Fi access points (APs), including patching and MAC address verification
  • Interpret low-voltage blueprints and identify key symbols (e.g., data jack triangles)
  • Perform structured cabling in hospitals, schools, and other commercial buildings
  • Support greenfield construction work including cable routing, labeling, and testing
  • Maintain clean, professional appearance and adhere to job site dress code
  • Collaborate with team leads and follow project-specific installation standards

What You Bring

  • Experience with bulk cabling (e.g., pulling 50+ cables/day)
  • Ability to install and mount 12+ Wi-Fi APs per day
  • Familiarity with patch panels, 110/66 blocks, and color codes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and low-voltage diagrams
  • Commercial experience in environments like hospitals or schools
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor

Nice to Have

  • OSHA certification or fiber termination experience
  • Familiarity with coax, fiber, RJ45/RJ11 jacks, and NEC code for J-hook spacing
  • Personal toolset including punch tools, testers, and PPE
  • Willingness to travel to nearby branches (e.g., Charlotte, Myrtle Beach)

Why Apply?

  • Consistent 40+ hours/week with opportunities for overtime
  • Long-term opportunity with clear path for pay increases based on performance and reliability
  • Work with a company that values respect, quality, and customer service
  • Be part of high-impact projects in healthcare and education sectors
  • Supportive team environment with high standards and strong leadership

Work Environment

  • Job sites include hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings
  • Work hours vary by project: typically 4x10s or 5x8s, with some shift work (e.g., post-5 PM in ORs)
  • Dress code: no ripped clothing, sagging pants, or worn-out shoes; company shirts provided
  • Must be presentable and respectful in sensitive environments (e.g., patient care areas)
