The Multi-Domain Solutions division at Leidos is seeking a Logistics Administrator to support a large facility maintenance program management team. The Logistics Administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, and supplies within the supply chain, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and on time. This role involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with vendors and carriers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Track and monitor shipments, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems.
  • Process and verify purchase orders, ensuring proper quantities and specifications.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure correct handling, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Verify and process import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, including costs, timelines, and vendor performance.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
  • Negotiate shipping rates and service agreements with carriers.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal departments and external stakeholders regarding shipment status and logistics queries.
  • Provide timely updates on delivery status, resolving any discrepancies or delays.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support to resolve issues related to logistics and inventory.
  • Prepare and submit logistics-related reports, including delivery performance, cost analysis, and inventory trends.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and contract management for logistics services.
  • Support the logistics team with administrative tasks and operational improvements.
Basic Qualifications
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Responsible for supporting customers through any service inquiries or problems and taking any appropriate corrective action to initiate repair, return or field servicing.
  • Duties may include establishing company guides on servicing and repairs and maintaining logs, records, and files on repairs.
  • Responsible for leading operations within an area that has direct impact on results for the job family. Responsible for training, delegating and reviewing the work of employees in entire work stream.
  • Resolves complex problems and issues faced, which may require complete understanding of broader set of issues. Problems span a range of issues or areas. Problems are solved using prior experiences as well as organizational knowledge.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the function on matters to obtain or provide information on matters of significant importance to the organization.
  • Has complete understanding of all aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Requires expert knowledge in specialized functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or TMS (Transportation Management System) software.
  • Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CPIM).

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
