Alaska Waste, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a CDL Trainee to join our team in Seward, AK. We will train you and help you get your Class B CDL for free!
The schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. The pay will be $23.00 per hour to start. Once you get your Class B CDL, you will get a raise to $26.00 per hour, and your schedule will change to what the schedule is for the route you choose.
This is a labor-intensive position requiring regular heavy lifting. Must be 21 years or older to attend CDL School.
We are looking for laborers who are interested in starting a driving career and grow, within the company.

- Cleaning equipment with pressure washer
- Picking up litter
- General site cleanup
- Container Assembly
- Welding tasks could be assigned.
- Buffing, and painting dumpsters.
- Other assigned laborer duties
- At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor/operator type position.
- Ability to safely use a pressure washer.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
- Clean driving record
- Valid Class D drivers license.
