Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Document Control Technician with 3-5+ years of experience in using both small and large document scanners and plotters. This position requires working onsite at the Calhoun County Plant, focusing on scanning small and large format drawings and capturing meta-data through data entry. The role demands a solid understanding of records management processes and familiarity with engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Scan small and large format drawings efficiently.
- Capture and enter meta-data from drawings accurately.
- Manage and handle large, potentially delicate drawings carefully.
- Use MS Office products such as Outlook and Excel proficiently.
- Utilize scanning and PDF software effectively.
- Perform timekeeping using the company's timekeeping system.
- Lift and move boxes as needed in the course of handling documents.
- 3-5+ years of experience with small and large document scanners and plotters.
- Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook and Excel.
- Working knowledge of scanning and PDF software.
- Understanding of records management processes.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings.
- Experience in document control and scanning software.
- Ability to manage large and potentially delicate documents.
This role requires working onsite at the Calhoun County Plant. The environment involves managing large format documents, which may require lifting and moving boxes. Familiarity with engineering documentation is essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Anniston, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
